For the past couple of trackdays my engine started using oil, about 1/2qt a day... started at middle of the sight glass and ended at the bottom. Opened up the airbox... found the missing oil!
Spark plugs of course show some oil fouling. But, a leakdown was about 5% on both cylinders. I rebuilt the heads over the winter, new seals, valves, etc. (rebuilt the rear cylinder too .. so I was worried about those rings). And of course, last event magically had no oil usage! So while I'm quite happy about that, I really don't like random issues and magical fixes
So if it isn't overfilled, and isn't blow-by... what's left?
