  • Sec Gen swingarm pivot bearing end play

Since a I took my bike apart for a completenut and bolt rebuild and a lot of mods I noticed that the 2 bearing bushings and the central one in the swingarm pivot are about 1.2 mm more in length than the swingarm pivot itself. This translates in 1.2 mm of play side to side for the swingarm in the chassis. I have another "reserve" identical swingarm with the same play. I guess this is a factory, but I don't know if its just Suzuki being stupid and I should shim it down or should I leave it like that because of some manufacturing tolerance I am not understanding. In my mind if it was something like 0.4 or 0.3 it would be ok, but 1.2 seems an enormous tolerance.
