:LOL that'd me my fault. When I migrated the data over to the new server, I had to do a bunch of manual updates to some records.

but yes, Turkey hunting will now be plentiful!

Can you give us a quick comparison between using this new mod, compared with say a Spears High Lift set of cams that are hard-welded?

I have not tested cams back to back on same motor to tell you what difference is.

                    Re: cam swap?

I know the cam swap on a 1G is old news, but I was wondering what are some signs/symptoms that the "new" cam timing is not correct??

Specifically, my bike's starter will turn the motor, but the engine makes a weird "k-chug k-chug k-chug" noise and won't start... I'm wondering if this is a classic sign of incorrect cam timing?

                      Re: best(cheap) cam swap?

it can be sign for all kind things.
it can also be nothing, it is clanking engine to begin with.
do compression test and see if you possibly bent valves if cams are installed wrong.

bent valve... that doesn't sound good!
never done a compression test before, it it difficult? do i need special tools?

they all do same, you just need the one that has fitting to screw in place of your spark plug.
